1. Introduction
This Creator Agreement ("Agreement") is between you ("Creator") and Shard Creators ("Platform"). By joining as a Creator, you agree to the following terms.
Summary: You create content, we help you get paid. Be honest, create quality content, and follow campaign guidelines. Simple.
2. Creator Eligibility
To participate as a Creator, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old (or have parental/guardian consent)
- Own or have rights to the social media accounts you connect
- Have the ability to receive payments (PayPal, crypto, etc.)
- Agree to comply with all Platform rules and guidelines
3. Content Submissions
When submitting content to campaigns:
- Originality: You must create original content or have proper rights/permissions
- Guidelines: Follow each campaign's specific requirements and guidelines
- Quality: Maintain reasonable quality standards as expected by the campaign
- Accuracy: Only submit content posted on accounts you own and have verified
4. Earnings and Payments
How you earn money:
- Earnings are calculated using the RPM (Revenue Per Mille) rate set by each campaign
- View counts are verified through our tracking systems
- Earnings become available for withdrawal after verification and approval
- Minimum withdrawal thresholds may apply
- You are responsible for all taxes on your earnings
5. Prohibited Activities
The following activities will result in account termination and forfeiture of earnings:
- View Manipulation: Using bots, paid views, view exchanges, or any artificial inflation
- False Information: Misrepresenting account ownership or metrics
- Multi-Accounting: Creating multiple accounts to game the system
- Content Theft: Submitting content you don't have rights to
- Platform Abuse: Exploiting bugs or vulnerabilities
6. Account Verification
We verify accounts through:
- Bio verification codes on connected social accounts
- Cross-referencing submitted content with verified accounts
- Monitoring for suspicious activity patterns
7. Content Rights
Regarding content ownership:
- You retain ownership of all content you create
- You grant campaigns limited license to track and report on your content
- Brands may feature top-performing content with attribution (if specified in campaign)
8. Termination
Either party may terminate this agreement:
- You may deactivate your account at any time
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms
- Pending legitimate earnings will be paid upon termination
- Earnings from fraudulent activity will be forfeited
9. Dispute Resolution
If you have concerns about earnings, content, or account status:
- Contact us through our official channels first
- We will review disputes within 7 business days
- Our decision on fraud-related matters is final
10. Changes to Agreement
We may update this agreement. Significant changes will be communicated via email or platform notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
